The bride of this exquisite wedding dress told me she was married in 1957.  The dress has been boxed for 53 years and retains its original veil and mitts.  A true beauty in light ecru, this dress features two layers of tulle over a taffeta base.  The top tulle layer is gathered and embellished with machine embroidery and is worked throughout the design of the dress.  The cap sleeves are gently hidden under a wide V collar which graces both the front and back.  The waist is accented with satin taffeta and when drawn to the back is gathered into a stunning back "bow" with 21" wide flowing ties.  17" metal back zipper.    Necklace not included.

The Veil:  The veil headpiece is custom designed to complement the dress utilizing the embroidered tulle.

The Mitts:  Eight button closure finger mitts are once again made of the same embroidered tulle.

Condition:  Excellent/Near Mint Condition.  The only thing I found was a very faint spot on the front taffeta sash. Barely noticeable, but thought I should mention it.  Two of the button loops on the mitts need to be stitched.
