Feel like a Roman Goddess with this romantic empire waist gown.  Two layers of tulle over a lined satin base. The top layer of tulle is dotted and embellished with a variety of ribbon textures to give you a richly detailed and sophisticated entrance.  The bottom layer of tulle is hemmed with 1 1/2" wide scalloped horsehair braid.  This dress is so reminiscent of the early 1800's too.  The gown has a 16" long metal back zipper.  Many handstitched details throughout this dress.  Gathered cap sleeves and semi-low scoop neck back.

Condition:  Very Good Vintage Condition.  No rips or tears in the outer layer of lace.  No severe stains.  The underarms need to be restitched on the seam.  There are a few loose threads along the bottom.  Inside bodice  lining is slightly dingy.  It needs to be dry cleaned.
